Some plants such as daffodils automatically repell deer. Deer repellent has worked for me, too.
there is deer repellant that is sold at menard's or maybe even lowe's. it smells like crap, so don't stand downwind of it
we always used hair collected from a friend's barber shop. kept deer out of my mom's prize winning gardens in GA
deer repellant or deer scare
Although hungry deer will generally eat whatever is within reach, they don't savor garlic, cotoneaster, or hawthorn. And several growers who participated in the study noted that deer seem to prefer plants that have been fertilized.

ALTHOUGH THE first rule in deer proofing is that there really are no deer-proof plants, here are some that deer don't seem to enjoy.

SMELLY OLD SHOES can be used as a deterrent to deer. Just stick the shoes on top of tomato sticks, and watch the deer walk a wide circle around them. My shoes usually last from mid-May until about mid-August. That is, they keep the deer out of my garden for that long. This depends on the amount of rain and how much your shoes smell. -- Rick

Good luck!!!
Homemade deer repellant. Basically water/milk hot peppers, and egg. Jerry Baker has the best recipe and it rarely lets me down. It is the same stuff sold in garden stores at those rediculus prices. You can make a gallon at home for under a buck(pun intended).

Urine of a predator but it's pricey so I pee in a bucket and dilute it in a garden sprayer and spray around the garden perimeter. Also works for skunks and other pests.

Motion activated lights and sprinklers.

A radio with a garbage can or something over it to protect it.

10ft high fence. Dear can usually get over an 8ft fence.

If it's smaller animals like rabbits, skunks, etc you will need a fence with holes smaller than a bunny can get through(very small). You also need to bury about a foot of the fence in the ground or they will dig under it and feast on your plants.

Plant a food plot just for them with something they like better than your garden
maybe spray it or will it attack you
