What can i make with deer antlers?

I found two 3-point white tail deer antlers in the woods. I want to make a little table or lamp...does anyone know any websites I can go to to find instructions on how to make these or other items? What can i make with deer antlers?
you can make a gun rack, a coat rack, Ive even seen a really cool chandelier made out of them.

just kidding! Sounds like a pretty cool project. I saw deer antler chandeliers. I think they were at Lauberge Du Lac Casino in Lake Charles, LA. You would need more than two probably.
You could make a chandelier or a lamp. The lamp would be pretty simple, just depending on where you live you might have to do some footwork to get all the parts. The hardest part of making these fixtures in figuring out how to stand your antlers up so that you can mount them and still have room for the socket, harp, and shade. I would suggest looking at a few websites that sell things like this. Antlerart.com is a company that we use at my work. I would also suggest for you to just start to play with your antlers and try to set them up in different ways. A layout should come to you and from there you can just put the hardware with it. Most lighting showrooms can sell you every part that you need, including a wood base, socket, and probably even a shade. The sales person at the lighting or electrical showroom should be able to tell you the best way to get wire around the fixtures. I would definitely not try to drill into the antler. Most antler fixtures are made by gluing the cord in a hidden spot away from eye view using silicone. You can buy cord that will closely match the color of your antler. Go for a three-way socket and a nice rustic shade and before you know it you have a lamp.
