What are some of the best automatic deer feeders?

I just bought some land and I'm new to hunting by feeders. I will need something that is maintenance free for about 4 months at a time. I'm looking for one that is known to keep from clogging in the funnel. What are the best known trusted brands on the market? It seems that every hardware store has the similar styles but what sets the good ones apart from the cheap ones? Thanks guys/gals.What are some of the best automatic deer feeders?

max,moultrie feeders and Remington are just a few some are gravity feeder and some are time feeders the good ones have a good guarantee some are plastic so you might want to go with a all steel type of feeder you might need several batteries.you can set the timers for a few seconds to a couple of minutes some hold just a few pounds to several hundered pounds .tripods are pretty good to use just make sure the legs are anchored down.What are some of the best automatic deer feeders?
I have hurrican on a tripod works pretty well but i wired it to run off of a small battery ( lawn mower etc.) It can last the whole season without changing. i also have bught the feeders from cableas and mounted them on barrels, they work pretty well to, but you will want to take apart the main structure and reassemble using loc tite so they dont vibrate loose. they come with a template to show how to mount to a barrel then you can hangfrom a tree or put legs on it.
the cheapest that you can use and set for all times is the digital feeder at walmart. the name escapes me.you do not have to worry about anything but feed for close to a year.get a solar charger and attach it to the battery.it will stay charged indefinately.the cost is around $80-$100.

i never had good experience w/ any of um. i suggest getting a plastic drum and converting it into a gravity feeder. there is no maintence and it woulnt turn on when there is game around and spook them. good luck
