How big are whitetail deer in Mississippi?

I have always hunted deer in East Texas, I have never hunted in other states before. I have a friend who is from Mississippi and he will invite me to go deer hunting with him for 1 week to his 820 acre ranch in Mississippi on the month of December. My gut tells me that it will be cold in December over there, I am not sure if it snows over there. How big are whitetail deer in Mississippi? Are they bigger than Texas whitetails? I live in MS. The whitetail deer are just as big there as anywhere else. We have some world record trophy's to the books. What ranch will you be at? The Dec month's are mild now, not as cold as it use to be. And we do see the occaisional snows in the months of Feb, Mar. Sometimes earlier. I've personaly seen 300+ pound deer killed there. Took quite a few in the 220 to 250 class myself.

They are bigger than the Texas Deer, but they are still small. If you want big deer you need to go north to Colorado and wyoming.

but i live in Colorado so I am used to giant deer.
They are bigger and have more food.....lots of vegetation....
