How do people get deer to cross at the yellow sign?

I just noticed, ive never seen a deer cross the road except at the yellow sign that warns you that deer cross there... coincidence or what?How do people get deer to cross at the yellow sign?

When i was young and free and my imagination had no limits, I dreamed of changing the world. As I grew older and wiser, I discovered the world would not change, so I shortened my sights somewhat and decided to change only my country.





But it, too, seemed immovable.





As Igrew into my twilight years, in one last desperate attempt, I settled for changing only my family, those closest to me, but alas, they would have none of it.





And now as I lie on my deathbed, I suddenly realize: If I had only changed my self first, then by example I would have changed my family.





From their inspiration and encouragement, I would then have been able to better my country and, who knows, I may have even changed the world.

the government sends people to look for places where deer cross a lot and could be a threat to the community/freeway


so they put up big yellow signs to tell people to be more careful in that area because of the so many deer crossing the free way
Well, studies are done for natural crossings for deer, and then a sign is posted in that area to warn motorists, so it would make sense that you would see a deer at one of those signs, right?
They place the signs where Deer tend to cross, not the other way around. That is the serious answer.


The smartazz answer would be: Since Deer can read, why don't they know when hunting season starts?
Wait until the deer crosses, honk, approach then to see if they'll run, or risk injury or life trying to get out of the car and maybe push it
Most states use corn in the areas where the most expensive cars are found. No need in getting deer to hit those cars that will just end up in the junk yard.
the sad truth is u never see any of the ones that don't cross at the sign bcuz there wasn't a sign to warn ppl that they were there so sumbody probably hit them
Deer are very smart and they can read.............
the deer learn it from each other
Why would they want to do that? Everyone knows that they wait in ambush... they're suicidal maniacs :)
