How do deer and other animals survive during the winter?

It makes me sad to see animals out there in the cold and there's nothing I can do to help them.

Supposedly they ';grow thicker fur'; during the winter......is that really enough to survive in such cold weather? How do deer and other animals survive during the winter?
They hibernate, meaning that their systems slow down, requiring less food and water. Also their fur keeps them warm. The metabolic system becomes less active, and thew body temperature decreasesHow do deer and other animals survive during the winter?
The animals that you see in the winter all grow thicker fur, in the spring if you look closely you will notice that the fur seems blotchy ( not uniform) on their bodies, this is because they shed their winter coat in the spring, If you have a dog they do pretty much the same thing in the winter they have a thicker fur than in the summer. In the spring you mom probably complains about so much hair because the dog is shedding its winter coat.

Animals do not move around as much in the winter other than looking for food. By not moving around they conserve energy and do not require as much food as other times of the year when food is plentiful and they can run.

During harsh winters it becomes difficult for animals to survive as the food sources are harder and harder to find.

DO not worry this is nature at its finest, an amazing thing that they are made to survive great trials and most come through fine.
Yes they do, aside from moving to lower elevations and forested areas where the climate is less harsh and food more abundant than on hillsides and mountains.
mostly they migrate to warmer places or they grow thicker fur or as u might know that they get adapted
only human beings feel cold in winter season.

animals don't suffer.

thy don't even wear clothes.
HIBERNATION
obviously they are fine. . . they are still around arnt they?
